Rooftop Garden lust

I love love love an urban rooftop garden. Rooftop week on ‘The Block’ is always studied in detail and my ‘Rooftop Garden’ board on Pinterest is the one I always go to for inspiration (which is funny as I live in a single level house in the burbs!). The contrasts of worlds, the element of surprise and the idea of bringing nature back into a man made environment can create wonderful spaces. There is a feeling of calm & magic about being in a small pocket of green, a little oasis, in the middle of a frantic, concrete environment.
